In Honour of Olubadan of Ibadanland, Some Market Would be Closed For Business

The Babaloja General of Oyo state, Alhaji Yekeen Abass has sympathized with the State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, the Olubadan in Council, sons and daughters of Ibadanland over the demise of Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Lekan Balogun Alli Okunmade II and has announced that some market areas will be closed for business activities in honour of the late Olubadan.

In a message signed on behalf of market leaders, and traders in the state, Alhaji Abass noted that the reign of the imperial majesty was peaceful with economic development in the ancient city.

Alhaji Abass stated that the market at Bus stop gate, Oje, Oja Oba, Bere, Molete, Bode markets will be closed for business activities for the burial rites of the imperial Majesty who joined his ancestors.

He urged traders and market leaders in the affected markets to give honour to the Royal father and make it a point that no one flouts the directive.
